Somehow, more than two years have passed since I last properly updated this website. Life got busy — very busy — and somewhere between the dogs, puppies, shows, travelling, breeding plans and simply trying to enjoy everything along the way, both my website and social media became a little neglected.
But while things may have looked quiet online, behind the scenes it has been quite the opposite.
So much has changed at Kireina Takara. We have moved into our dreamhouse, welcomed new dogs, watched youngsters grow into everything we hoped they could become, made exciting plans for the future and experienced some truly unforgettable moments. We have travelled, competed and celebrated successes that I could only have dreamed of when this journey started. There is a lot to catch up on — probably more than I even realize right now!
Most importantly, my passion for the Akita has never slowed down. If anything, it only grew stronger.
So… it is definitely time to blow the dust off this website. Over the coming weeks, I will slowly be updating these pages, introducing some new faces, updating our dogs and results, sharing our plans and hopefully bringing the website back to life again.
In the meantime, please don’t let the outdated pages fool you! Kireina Takara is very much alive, active and looking towards the future.
